In the 1980's I started working as a wildlife cinematographer, filming wildlife and natural history documentaries for television production houses. This in part came about because of my knowledge of natural history and part because of my 'eye for a shot' which allowed me to work professionally in this industry for many years. These days I am more interested in recording natural history images in a single frame, having had many photographs published in magazines and publications worldwide.
I have lived and worked in many countries of the world and travelled extensively, this has allowed me to see many different styles of Nature Photography and ways to tackle many of the problems others have faced in the past.
I provide a range of services to those interested in nature photography including nature photography tours, workshops, fieldtrips, tuition and a mentoring program.
My blog also provide articles about nature photography including photography tips and advice. http://jamesdoylephoto.com/blog/

"Thanks James the Workshop today was very interesting and informative...You are a wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to the next one as well."
"I agree with other testimonials, James is great to spend time with, very passionate and knowledgable about nature photography and freely shares his knowledge, very unpretentious. Be prepared, for James can talk about almost anything but tells it in a fun way. Highly recommended."
"Had a great morning out with James. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in a great day out in nature. Morning tea was a welcomed bonus after working the morning light".
