My name is Michael Vettas I am a talented diverse professional sports photographer from Sydney, Australia.

I began this journey as a sports photographer almost 5 years ago and on a professional level running my own business for almost 4, I have travelled the country covering sporting events for National magazine, organising bodies and charities, my work has been published regularly in National Motorsport Magazines, used in reports for major sporting organisations and on a weekly basis for my AFL coverage in a number of community newspapers in and around Sydney. My Client list is varied and covers a large number of professional and amateur sports. Below are some of the sports I have extensive experience in.

AFL, Basketball, Cricket, Cycling, Gymnastics, Hockey, Motorsport, Netball, Tennis, Triathlons.

My passion lies in Rally Photography, AFL and Tennis however the love of sports takes me everywhere. I am the official photography for the AFL Sydney League and have been since 2008. I have shot events such at the Australian Rally Championship, World Rally Championship, Samsung International Hockey Tournament, Medibank International Tennis, NBL, WNBL, Sydney AFL League, ANZ Netball Championship, V8 Supercars, Gymnastics Australia Nationals, NSW Hockey Championships and the Sydney Marathon.
