Oliver Thompson is a clever and passionate Photographer based in Darwin, Australia. He has been using a camera since the age of 12, photographing in film and making videos of skateboarding and making music. His passion for photography developed during High School Art classes after learning techniques in the darkroom which eventually lead to digital imagery. His 1st wedding was in 1999 and he hasnt looked back, afterwards doing 6 years doing music photography for WorldDJ, mainly in low light and tough conditions to get the shot no matter what, making him an experienced event photographer. His trade is now is in weddings and family portraits from doing 1000s of shoots in the Whitsundays from 2007 till 2010, and getting trained by very experienced photographers from around the world. He decided to go out on his own in 2012 in Darwin and make his own photography practice.
Oliver has worked with many companies for their online content & branding some of which include: Gorden & Slater lawyers, L'Oreal Paris, Pfizer, Puma, Sinopec, BMW, NT Cattlemans Association and is currently Darwin Military Museums senior photographer.
