Sam Oster is a professional photographer based in Norwood, South Australia
I am a portrait photographer who works primarily in the performing arts (film, television, dance & theatre) but I also have a range of corporate clients and shoot a variety of work across corporate, PR and transport services. I have a studio in Norwood, which has 2 professional studio spaces, a sprung floor for dance and action photography, a change and makeup room, and a large waiting area / gallery.
I specialise in headshots (actors, performing artists, professionals, corporate). I am a member of Headshot Crew with Peter Hurley's internationally acclaimed headshot community, and am working tirelessly to deliver the best headshots in SA. I teach photography at the Centre for Creative Photography and the University of South Australia, and am immersed in photomedia across my professional and personal work. I exhibit regularly and work as an artist creating moving image work exploring timelapse, stop motion and screen dance, as well as more experimental 3D and lenticular photography. I am passionate about crafting the most interesting and effective work I can, and do my best to keep up with the fast pace of change in digital photography. I have recently set up a portable darkroom in a converted vintage caravan - the Tintype Traveller offers traditional and alternative process photography to a variety of events and portrait clients for something really refreshingly different.

Thank you for your beautiful photographs - we all think they're stunning.
Thank you for letting me know of your ongoing and very interesting work. You're very talented and I admire what you are doing.
I loved working with you and and I hope we are able to work together again soon. The brochure has been printed and looks great, and the website was launched last week and I think it too is good.
Really enjoyed our shoot today!
It was lovely to work with you again - I really love and admire how you inspire your clients, and the way you help them pose with scenarios and descriptions! Its really special and shows such experience and professionalism.
Looking forward to next time,
Got the CD, thanks for that. The photos are great and right on brief. The images taken of the external building turned out really well, as did the large group shots, so thank you very much!
I just checked out your website -wow. I feel rather in awe of your work and that you may be in a class much higher than our mere corporate shots! So thank you for making the time for us :)
