November 9th, 2016Why do a Photoshoot with Megan? Because it's fun - and self-indulgent, and empowering, and validating. It made me step outside of who I am in the story that I tell myself - fat, frumpy, tired, old - and see myself in a new way. It was gloriously liberating. Every woman should do it! It was really a special treat to have a Hollywood style photo shoot with Megan at Studio Fascino. It was a very intimate experience and I felt confident, relaxed and safe in the studio. While it can be hard for an 'ordinary' woman to release her inner starlet, Megan's friendly and encouraging manner made the whole experience effortless. I felt like the most beautiful, pampered and confident woman in the world throughout. The result of my shoot was a package of absolutely stunning images that have drawn gasps from my friends and family. Some for my husband's eyes only, others that do not give away the identify of the model and could be considered works of art. Several I hope my grandchildren will look at one day when I'm long gone and say, "Wow! Is that really Nanna? Was she a movie star?".Jane,
