Capturing those precious moments is like stopping time. A photograph is not just an image. When I look at a photograph of myself, or my children, I remember the time that it was taken, the new baby smell of my son's skin, how happy my daughter was playing on the swings and in the sand, the breeze blowing against our skin or the sun beating down on me, recharging my batteries.
My goal is to offer you what I experience every day when I look around the walls of my own home.
I think everyone should be able to relive those special moments. Hence, I offer my unique services to you that you, too, can relive those special moments again and again.

I have always had a love of photography but my passion was truly ignited nearly 7 years ago when I became a father for the first time. Watching my daughter change and grow with each day. I suddenly realised that I was losing all those moments that meant so much to me, those treasured moments that I could never get back. That was the beginning of my journey into the intriguing world of photography.
Being a photographer was the answer for me then, and still is now. I found myself buying book after book, reading like there was no tomorrow. I had to get this right if I wanted to capture what my child not only looked like and what she was doing, but also what she was really thinking and feeling at that very moment. Emotion needs to be made visible in the image. Emotion isn't about who or what the subject is; it's how the image communicates with you. It's the message conveyed through the lines, the tones the composition, Its all embracing, Its everything.
I wanted to be able to look at the image and remember it as though it was a second ago.. even in 30 years' time.
I am a self-taught photographer and want to provide people with images that encapsulate every aspect of that special moment.

I have always worked in creative fields, but lately I have been working in the community sector as a disability support worker. Engaged with people who experience behavioural challenges or involuntary movements has taught me how to see past the expectations of the social norm. Working as a support worker has taught me how to interact with people on a much deeper level.

Looking back on my photography before I became a support worker, and comparing what I then believed to be the essence of good photography with my views today, I see a complete contrast. Before I worked as a support worker I was searching for pretty models to fill my portfolio, thinking that the exterior was where the beauty lay. I now try to highlight the unique expression that we all, as individuals, harbour.
