David Young has lived and worked in London, Sydney and for the past 25 years, in Byron Bay. He was formally trained in London and has over 30 years' experience as a professional advertising, editorial and arts photographer. He photographs any subject matter but has a specialist reputation in interiors, architecture, industrial, products, people and stock.

David shoots for national lifestyle magazines which have included, House and Garden, Country Style, Vogue Living, Home Beautiful, Marie Claire, Belle, Interiors, Real Living, Inside Out, Gourmet Traveller, Delicious, Harpers Bazaar, Cleo, Good Weekend, Sunday Life, Coast, Womens Weekly, Womans Day, New Idea, She, GQ, Readers Digest, and Qantas and Virgin in-flight magazines.

He co published and photographed The Byron Bay Cookbook.
