How do I find a professional photographer on the site?

To find a photographer you can use the search form on many of the pages, or go to Find Photographers. The search form asks for a type of photographer, and a state in Australia, and subsequent suburb. Please complete all these fields to get the perfect match for your needs. Once you have clicked the Search button, you will be presented with a list of the best photographers for your search. Browse through these photographers and click on View Profile & Images to read all about past clients, testimonials, reviews, example photos and more.

In what order do photographers appear in search results?

We attempt to present you with the best photographers for your search higher up in our results. This is down to many factors such as location from you, or location entered in the search, the reviews a photographers receives, any professional accreditations, testimonials, detailed bio, number of example portfolio images, account type (professional accounts get a boost in our rankings), and many more factors.

How do I request a quote from a photographer?

When you like the look of one of the photographers listed, simply click on their profile and you'll see a REQUEST QUOTE button. Click this button and fill in as much information as you can so the photographer can get back to you quickly and accurately. Mention budgets, dates, type of shoot required, location - as much as you can. Then click submit and the quote request will go to the photographer who will get in touch with you directly.

How do I leave a review for a photographer?

Same as requesting a quote - view the profile page of the photographer and click the LEAVE REVIEW button. Be honest about your review, and try to give as much detail as to what you liked to help other clients who may be looking for similar. All reviews are moderated before being made public. Abusive reviews will not be tolerated.

There are three tiers of membership available to photographers, which offers both free and paid membership. You can view the full benefits here, however here is a summary:

Basic Account (Free)
You can display your business, bio, testimonails, reviews, photos and more. Your profile in our search results looks like the profiles marked with c. below.

Professional Account (From less than $19 per month)
Popular choice for the professional photographer. All the features of a Basic Account, the Pro Account has extended and top placement spanning the width of search results, and given a boost in the search rankings. Your profile in our search results looks like the profiles marked with a b. below.

Professional + Account (From $32 per month)
Maximum impact for the seasoned professional. All the features of a Pro Account, and in addition a Pro+ Account comes with front page placement, search result links, video ability and more. Your profile in our search results looks like the profiles marked with a a. below)

How much does membership cost?

Basic Accounts are FREE, Professional Accounts start from less than $19 AUD per month, and Professional+ Accounts start from $32 per month. You can pay monthly, every 6 months or yearly. How do I edit my listing? (Such as location, address images and more)

Once you have logged in to your account, you can update location, bio information, qualifications, add/ delete images and much more from the My Account area. Sometimes you may not want your street address shown so you can simply delete the entry, click save, and your profile will no longer show this.

How do I change my company name and whether my personal name should appear?

Once you have logged in to your account, you can change your first name, last name, whether or not to show these names, your company name and your personal profile page URL on Photographers from the Company Information area.

How do I update my credit card?

Once you have logged in to your account, under Billing Information you will see options to remove your credit card, or add a new credit card to be used on your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Once you have logged in to your account, navigate to Subscriptions to view your current profile and subscription status, including the date your subscription will be renewed. If you wish to no longer continue your subscription, you can select the Cancel option.
