ric woods photography is a full time commercial photography business working from a purpose built studio in Carrington 5 minutes from Newcastle's CBD. We have over 25 years experience and excel in the areas of commercial, corporate,industrial and portrait image making. Our staff is highly skilled in all areas of high end film and digital capture, post production including digital retouching. We also have a trained make up artist on staff. We offer a fully equipped air conditioned studio, including, studio area,viewing room,change area and darkroom ( film). We are also a framing service.
Our studio standard equipment is fully mobile and able to operate on location without power. This drastically reduces downtime and disruption for clients wanting environmental portraits and on location corporate head shots.
Being a full time commercial studio we are able to offer very fast turn around time for our commercial and corporate clients. Our communication and people skills enable us to get the very best out of even the most camera shy subjects, we can direct the subject to capture the most flattering poses. During the planning of your photographic session we can send you dress and grooming guidelines. Many of our commercial clients have been extremely satisfied with our skills they have commissioned us to photograph their families or children.
Our photographic equipment is high end in quality Nikon and Mamiya(medium format film system) and we have back up cameras and lenses. A very important issue in business is the insurance aspects, we have full workers compensation and public liability policies in place.Yes, we are always ready for urgent shoots where images MUST go to press asap.
Our creative abilities, quality of images and follow up service for our clients is the reason our clients are referrals and choose to stay with this studio.
